Terms of sale and use
Version of 27 September 2026. This English text is a translation; the French version prevails.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the sale and use of Inbee, an online service published by SAS SOFT4GOOD (“we”), by the customer who signs up (“you”). They apply as soon as an account is created and prevail over any other document unless we agree otherwise in writing. The applicable version is the one in force on the date of subscription or renewal.
2. Businesses only
Inbee is sold exclusively to businesses: companies, sole traders, associations and public bodies acting for the purposes of their activity. By signing up, you declare that you act in that capacity. Consumer protection rules, including the right of withdrawal, do not apply.
3. The service
Inbee brings together customer support (email and website chat), the help center, the CRM, internal documents, an AI assistant, team mail and chat, newsletters, announcements and surveys. The current description is on inbee.eu. The service evolves; we do not remove an essential feature of the plan you paid for during the period without notice and without an equivalent solution.
4. Account and access
You provide accurate information (name, work email, company, country) and keep it up to date. You keep your credentials confidential and are responsible for how the accounts in your workspace are used. The workspace administrator invites members and manages their permissions.
5. Free trial
A new workspace gets a 14-day trial of the Pro plan, with no payment method, once per company. During the trial, 50 questions solved by the AI are included, newsletters and the sending domain open with the subscription, and messages you send first are limited to 50 a day. We may limit the number of trials opened each day. If you subscribe during the trial, it ends and your first period begins.
At the end of the trial, without a subscription, the workspace becomes read-only: you can view and export everything; new messages from your customers are kept but hidden until you subscribe. The workspace content is kept for 90 days, then deleted; you are notified by email one month after the trial ends, then 7 days before deletion.
6. Plans and prices
The plans (Team, Pro, Organisation), their content and prices are those shown on the Pricing page on the date of subscription. Prices exclude tax. Depending on the plan, the following are added: people beyond those included, questions solved by the AI beyond the 50 included each month (€0.50 excl. tax each, within the spending cap you set) and the options you choose (for example +10,000 newsletter sends a month). VAT is applied under the rules in force, including reverse charge for a customer established in another EU country who provides a valid EU VAT number.
We may change our prices. A new price applies to your subscription at the next renewal, and no earlier than 30 days after we have informed you by email; you may cancel before then.
7. Payment and invoicing
You subscribe from Settings › Subscription and billing, monthly or yearly. The subscription is paid in advance by card, through our payment provider; we do not store your card numbers. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge this card at each renewal and for the usage described in article 6.
Additional people are invoiced at each renewal, according to their number on that date. Solved questions beyond those included are invoiced with the next renewal; for a yearly subscription, every month. An invoice is issued for every payment and remains available in the settings.
If a payment fails, we notify you and try again; if it still fails, the workspace becomes read-only until payment is made. Any amount unpaid when due automatically incurs late payment penalties at three times the French legal interest rate and a fixed €40 recovery fee (article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code).
8. Term, plan changes and cancellation
The subscription is entered into for the chosen period (one month or one year) and renews automatically for the same duration. You can add people at any time. A plan change takes effect at the next renewal.
You can cancel at any time from the settings: cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, with no refund for the current period, and you can undo it until then. Afterwards, the workspace becomes read-only; its content is kept for 90 days and may then be deleted.
We may suspend or terminate a subscription in the event of a serious breach (non-payment, use prohibited by article 9) after formal notice has remained unanswered for 15 days, or immediately in the event of harm to the security of the service or to the rights of third parties.
9. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- send newsletters only to people who have consented or where the law allows it, always with an unsubscribe link, and never to purchased lists;
- respect the sending limits (messages you send first: 1,000 a month, 500 a day, 50 recipients per message);
- not publish or send any unlawful or misleading content, or content that infringes the rights of third parties;
- not attempt to access other workspaces’ data, circumvent limits, or harm the security or availability of the service.
10. Artificial intelligence
AI answers (Inbee in the website chat and help center, the team assistant) are generated automatically from your workspace content and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You choose the content it uses and how it answers, and you remain responsible for the answers given to your customers. We do not use your data to train AI models.
11. Your data
You remain the owner of your workspace data. We process it on your behalf and according to your instructions, under the data processing agreement below, which forms part of these terms. It is hosted in France. You can export it during the subscription and during the retention period.
12. Availability and support
We use reasonable means to keep the service available at all times, except for maintenance (announced in advance when foreseeable) and events beyond our control. Support is provided by email and online, with a reply within two business days, or the same business day on the Organisation plan.
13. Liability
We are bound by an obligation of means. We are not liable for indirect damage (loss of revenue, customers or unexported data, reputational harm). Our total liability, for all events combined, is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to it. These limits do not apply in the event of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or where the law prohibits them.
14. Intellectual property
Inbee (software, brand, website content) remains the property of SOFT4GOOD. The subscription grants you, for its duration, a non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service for the purposes of your business.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Any significant change is announced to you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect; if you do not accept it, you may cancel before that date. The version in force is always published on this page.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, we first seek an amicable solution: write to us at contact@inbee.eu. Failing that, the commercial court of Nîmes (France) has exclusive jurisdiction.
